SKF electronic brake device for agricultural vehicle

2016-10-13
At SIMA 2009, the most important international agricultural exhibition, SKF presented a new technology invention: electronic parking brakes for tractors and farm vehicles.
The new automatic control tractor, T7000, of the new Holland agricultural machinery company, is coming out with a SKF electronic parking brake. The system used by new Holland is a hybrid solution based on mechanical emergency braking technology and SKF intelligent electromechanical actuators for driving parking brakes.
The SKF electronic parking brake is more than just a parking system. It is designed to ensure the safety and reliability of operators, and can help drivers cope with various driving conditions. It has many intelligent functions, for example, can pull out and leave the seat in the key driver to continue working after the automatic application function, and application of mountain area and driving function, so that the driver can take from 40kg to manual brake, it can be more comfortable, especially in the rugged road.
"The added value of SKF lies in these smart functions," says Gianluca Oberto, manager of the line business division at SKF Industrie SpA, a typical feature of the most advanced electromechanical systems. "
In addition, the SKF electronic parking brake system has environmental protection function and can save energy and reduce emission. This inherits the long-standing tradition of environmental protection of SKF.
SKF electronic parking brake was developed by SKF Italian company, and the first production line has been put into operation since September 2008.
Since 1970s, SKF has been a pioneer in the field of mechatronics, with some projects relating to aviation, such as the first linear flight system for the Airbus accelerator control system in 80s. Recently, SKF has undertaken a number of important projects in the automation industry, including line control, Filo and Novanta concept cars.
